The best shots from training as Newcastle United put in their final preparations for the UEFA Champions League clash with Qarabağ FK.

The Magpies take a 6-1 lead into the St. James' Park fixture after an incredible display in Baku, Azerbaijan last week.

Eddie Howe, however, won't be taking his foot off the pedal and admits he wants another win in the second leg as Qarabağ arrive on Tyneside.

"A lot was made of the result against Qarabağ in the first leg but for me it was the performance and the manner and the hunger we showed," he told reporters at St. James' Park on Monday afternoon.

"That's the level I want us to try and attain, or as close as we can, as often as possible."

United's senior stars - and some youngsters - were put through their paces at the club's Benton base on Monday and our photographer, Serena Taylor, was on hand to capture the session, as seen below.
