Defender Torpey - who joined the Magpies last month after spending time with Portland Thorns in the NWSL - has been named in the Australia squad ahead of this year's AFC Women's Asian Cup, with the tournament taking place on home soil.

The Matildas kick off their campaign on Sunday, 1st March when hosting the Philippines at Perth Stadium before facing Iran at the Gold Coast Stadium four days later.

Joe Montemurro's side will face South Korea at the Accor Stadium in Sydney on Sunday, 8th March.

All of Australia's Group A fixtures will take place at 9am (GMT) as they aim to win a first AFC Women's Asian Cup title since 2010.

Aoife Mannion and Emily Murphy

The Magpies pair are mainstays of Carla Ward's side and could feature in the Republic of Ireland's two 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup qualifiers against France and the Netherlands.

Éire face France at the Tallaght Stadium in Dublin on Tuesday, 3rd March (kick-off 6:30pm GMT) before facing the Netherlands in Utrecht on Saturday, 7th March (kick-off 7:45pm GMT) as they look to kick off their campaign in style.

Lois Joel

Joel - who was part of the Wales squad for their historic appearance at UEFA Women's EURO 2025 - has again been called up by Rhian Wilkinson for their upcoming fixtures against Czechia and Montenegro.

Wales travel to Městský fotbalový stadion Miroslava Valenty in Uherské Hradiště to face Czechia on Tuesday, 3rd March (kick-off 6:30pm GMT) before returning to Parc y Scarlets in Llanelli to play Montenegro on Saturday, 7th March (kick-off 4:30pm GMT).

Both games are Women's World Cup qualifiers.

Shania Hayles

Forward Hayles also has a 2027 World Cup qualifier to look forward to after being named in the Jamaica squad that will take on Nicaragua on Monday, 2nd March.

The 26-year-old netted her first goal for her country in the Reggae Girlz' remarkable 18-0 win over Dominica in November 2025.

Charlotte Wardlaw and Jasmine McQuade

The United pair have both been named in the Scotland Under-23s squad for next month's friendly against the Netherlands.

Michael McArdle's side, consisting of 18 players, host their Dutch counterparts at the Sarens PSG Stadium in Inverness on Monday, 2nd March.

Freya Gregory

Magpies forward Gregory has again been named in the senior Scotland squad for their double-header against Luxembourg in March.

Melissa Andreatta's side kick off their FIFA Women's World Cup qualifying campaign at Stade Municipal Emile Mayrisch in Esch-sur-Alzette on Tuesday, 3rd March (kick-off 7:30pm GMT) before returning to Hampden Park in Glasgow to face the same opposition on Saturday, 7th March (kick-off 5pm GMT).

Gregory - who was capped by England up to under-23 level - now has seven caps for Scotland, having made her international bow in 2025.
